There are two types of tests
1st. Section Tests: Designed to practice PTE Sections which includes Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening. The sectional exam has "Save and Exit" utility which helps the student to maintain his pace of learning.
2nd. Feedback Tests: Designed to master timing perspective of Full PTE Real Exam. Similar to real PTE exam, Feedback tests have to be finished in one go. This helps to maintain the real exam experience and master the timing allocation for each section.

One Attempt for Sectional Test can be made in which pause and resume is allowed for as many times as needed. One complete single attempt for Feedback Test is required to receive sample answers. You cannot save and exit Feedback Test. The unsaved random exit will be not renewed on our part

Once the test is purchased you will land directly into the dashboard. You will also receive an email with login details and confirmation of payment received. After successfully submitting the test you will receive sample answers.

For example, you have purchase feedback test > click feedback (under test type) > click the start button to start a test.

The test prices on https://checkpte.com/ are in US dollars. They are not in the local currency. Please note that all card payments will be processed in USD. This is stated on the website. The charge shown on your bank account is dependent on the conversion rate by your bank. Your bank provider may apply charges. If you are unsure whether this applies to you we advise you to contact your bank or credit card provider.

We only accept credit and debit credit card payments online. please check with your bank to clarify why the payment has not been authorized.

Log out of your account, clear your temporary files and cookies and open a different browser (if you use Chrome, can you try and log-in with Firefox and vice versa). Once logged in, check your computer compatibility via “Test My Computer” from the main page menu. Always make sure you have a stable network connection. In case you are having technical difficulties, please make sure that you send us a screenshot of the “Test Your Computer” check which informs of the compatibility of your device and a screenshot showing the issue you are experiencing, so we can investigate what went wrong. Please note that without the screenshot, we will not be able to investigate further.

Speaking section uses the uploading speed of your personal internet connection. The minimum recommended Uploading speed is 8.00 Mbps. Please run a speed test by typing “internet speed test” in the browser. If uploading speed is less than 8.00 Mbps; you can opt for one of the following options.

i. Use alternative internet connection (if you used wifi, you can use your phone’s hotspot connection). Run speed test in the computer’s browser to check if uploading speed is above 8:00 Mbps.

ii. Generally, Internet uploading speed fluctuates according to peak hour in a single day. You can start your test when you have recommended minimum uploading speed.

Chrome sometimes requires a second microphone authorisation. If this happens, you should click the "Allow" button in the top right of your browser window.

Alternatively, you may see the camera icon below.

Click on this icon to manage your media settings. You will need to reload the page for your changes to take effect, this will start the test again.

This could be due to having previously denied access to the microphone in Chrome. To fix it, follow the below steps: - Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
- Select Settings.
- Click Show advanced settings.
- In the "Privacy" section, click Content settings.
- In the "Media" section, click Manage exceptions to remove permissions.
